Description

While popular in the winter as a touring/skinning track, Snodgrass Mountain Road serves as a great training ride to gain some extra vertical while still getting a singletrack reward on the way back down.

Start by riding the doubletrack up the first 1/2 section of Snodgrass from Gothic. At the first gate, instead of going left on the singletrack, stay right on the dirt road/doubletrack heading up the mountain.

As you climb up the mountain, you'll pass through a flatter meadow area and notice another trail off to your left. Keep this trail in mind as this is a good trail to take back down to get to the Snodgrass singletrack junction before the creek crossing.
