Description

Combining both old (straight through) and new (contour) sections, this is a fun trail that sticks close to the Turtle River. If you start at the east end, you can take a dip in the water, then take a gradual climb to reach some great views from the top of the bluff opposite the CCC Shelter.

This is a popular trail that was previously open to only hikers, so please be aware of other trail users. Some sections (the stairs, a fall-line down-and-up) have been replaced by contour trails; please do not ride closed trails.
