Camp Glen is a beginner trail, and does not require an off-road cycling permit from the DNR.

From the Camp Glenn Trailhead off Shafter Road, enter the trail at the western edge of the parking lot. Follow the trail counter-clockwise, so keep right at the first intersection. Keep left at the second intersection with the Lawrence Creek Trail and then keep right to return to the parking lot.

This trail is a wide, smooth singletrack trail through mostly open hardwood forest. Watch for poison ivy and stinging nettles growing alongside the trail in the warm months. There are some mild obstacles here that will keep beginners on their toes.

There is a small rock garden with an alternate route, and there are a few rocks alongside the trail that riders should watch for to make sure they don't catch their pedals. Many riders have not paid attention already!
