Description

Traversing from Highway 143 to Highway 14, this singletrack cuts through the Markagunt Plateau near Hancock Peak. It does not go to the top of Hancock Peak, and no designated trail does approach the top. Instead, you'll get views of aspen groves and often an abundance of deer in the summer. This trail is marked as unmaintained on some USFS maps but locals clear the path from time to time.
