Like FR 3131, you may come across off road motorcyclists or ATV riders on occasion with increased chances of a meetup during hunting season.

Trail 3131A is essentially just a continuation of FR 3131. The trail is typically accessed at the trailhead for the Lower Tadpole and Trinkle Trail off Highway 15. Hop on the doubletrack and ride it until it joins up with FR 3131 near the Lookout Point Helicopter Landing Area off of lower Sheep Corral Canyon Road.

3131A essentially rides like FR 3131, with a combination of descending and climbing that can be ridden in any direction. However, 3131 is a bit more technical and has a couple of steep, rocky pitches.
