Description

The Beaver Dam Trail counterclockwise starts with a short punchy climb then a slight downhill to the leg burning powerline climb. Not to worry the energy expended climbing, the powerline is rewarded with a long flowy downhill run to the bottom. Cross the bridge and you get another moderate climb and finally a short downhill back to the primitive campground. Taking the trail clockwise results in a little easier climbing and faster downhills. To access, cross the spillway on the north end of the lake and turn right.
