There is a small trailhead on Calamity Jane Dr. at the bottom end of the trail.

Description

From the trailhead, the trail climbs fairly gently up to the mesa along a short canyon. Most of the way is packed dirt, but it gets rockier near the top.

The trail terminates at the junction with the sunset loop trail and the Mallard Trail. Numerous routes are possible from here.
