This trail can be ridden either way to choose the type of challenge it will offer, with the clockwise direction forcing you to manage your momentum to successfully clear loose uphill switchbacks to earn a cruise downhill through the rocky sections, while counterclockwise makes you time your pedal strokes to get up those features and provides a different flavor of difficulty to the switchbacks. Along the whole way, you'll be treated to views up into Zion Canyon as well as views of Springdale and the Virgin River,
