Multi Use.

Description

Mostly Gravel doubletrack (sandy some areas). Connects to several other trails. A couple of small rocky stream crossings and some really steep areas.

Closest trailheads are Jackson Road, Mountain Grove Rd, Flatwood Rd,

Junctions are pretty well marked with numbers and colors that match the junctions numbers and trail colors on the DNR maps.

Historic Knobstone Trail crosses a couple times, but is for hiking only.

Trail is shared with horse riders, use good etiquette and watch out for dung!

IN DNR ORC (Off-Road Cycling) permit required per person. You can get them from the State Forest Office in Henryville or Deam Lake SRA gate. Single day and annual (meaning through the end of the calendar year) permits available.

Not technical, but several steep spots, expect to hike-a-bike a few times. Not much dung, some small ruts forming in places, no downed trees
