Montana Tech Open Space Park is a non-motorized multi-use trail system. There are two main Parking Areas, one at the top (North) of the park on Orofino Gulch Rd, and one at the Bottom (South) of the park at the end of W Park St. There are no facilities such as bathrooms or water available at the Park.

This is a nice way to ride from top to bottom (or vice versa) of Montana Tech Park. The trail overall is smooth and flowy. The upper half built in 2018 has lots of corners and switchbacks, but nothing very tight or steep. The lower half built in 2022 is one of the more fun trails to descend as it undulates and curves across the side of the hill, before joining up with the Bike Park Trail just below the banked turns. The trail surface is packed sand which can get very dry and "marbley" so watch your speed and tire traction around corners.
