Need to Know

Some parking at the west end of the trail. The east end is reached via the Peavine Trail.

Description

The trail leaves the Peavine Trail a short ways north of the "Y" and heads west across a grassland area, winding gently downhill. The trail then enters a shady tree covered area as it approaches closer to Granite Creek.

The trail has a couple of steep, rocky spots approaching the trail end at Granite Creek. Most bikers will need to hike these. Then the trail ends at "old Hwy 89". This road would be a nice return to the Peavine Trail, but is gated and locked with "no trespassing" signs. Across the bridge is a short road leading out to Hwy 89.
