There are two Little America loop trails. This is loop A. Starting behind (south of) the hotel at the nature trail sign, the trail travels several hundred feet before splitting into the loop. There are trail maps on signs at many junctions.

The loop is a mostly wide and smooth gravel surface. There is one steep spot. By following the route in the direction shown, this spot will be downhill. Most of the route is through ponderosa forest and is mostly shady. Eventually the trail loops back to the first split.
