Fun! This trail meanders up, down, and around many rockpiles along the very edge of the Water Tower Trails. Take this as a connector the the northern trails, or as an out and back. It's fun both ways! Stop to enjoy more views of the Monument to the west. Traveling north, you'll eventually come to an intersection. Continue left, around a corner, then up and over a challenging rock bridge. At the next intersection, pick your poison: right into the maze of trails that wind and tangle in the valley just east of the water tower, or straight to some fast slick rock with small drops.
