A sign marks the start of this trail. The trail, which heads in a southerly direction, follows a creek bed and crosses it several times. It is well marked with a white blaze tag imprinted with the number 4. It ends after a steep rocky climb at the Thompson River Trail South loop where you can proceed either direction. You realize how much the elevation changes if you head back to the North Loop- much easier and faster!
