Description

About 5.5 miles up Forest Road 80, look for this track dropping off to the west. This is the second of two short spurs that lead to the same spot.

Follow an old, fading doubletrack down into the meadow then gradually climb to where the trail drops into Little Tusas Creek, one of several seasonal flowing tributaries that become the Rio Tusas. Remnants of an old wood bridge mark the times past when homesteaders and prospectors began working this area. Across the stream the Tony Marquez (TR 41) – East Loop is a few strides up the hill.
