Description

This is the perfect introduction to downhill mountain biking at Dodge Ridge. This professionally-designed trail is wide, requires little pedaling, and offers optional berms and a few jumps.

Buy a bike park lift ticket or season pass, take the Motherlode Chair (#3), pedal up the hill a bit, and enter this beginner trail near the top of the next chair up the ridge. The wide trail winds along the middle of the ridge, nicely benched into the hillside, and is broken into 4 zones. Follow the trail all the way to zones 3 and 4, and you'll be rewarded with well-built berms.

Near the bottom, the resort has constructed two small tabletops that are great at trail speed.
