Free Candy is only open from February - August. There is NO access to the trailheads during bow hunting season (September - January.)

Description

Part of the Allatoona Creek Mountain Bike Trails System, Free Candy was opened in May 2023. It is a nearly all hand-built trail with a path along the creek, a few short punchy climbs, off-camber sections, and root/rock gardens. Trailheads are located on both the north and south ends.

Those on foot should travel in the opposite direction of cyclists. The trail direction changes daily so check the sign at the trailheads. The trail may close due to wet conditions. Please check mtbatlanta.com for trail status.
