Mostly an easy trail, but there are a couple of difficult sections that are easily walked if needed.

Features Views

Valley of Fire is open sunrise to sunset. You need to be in or near your vehicle by sunset. An entrance fee of $8 for Nevada residents or $10 for non-residents is required.

Need to Know

The trail parallels the main road through the park, so if someone needed to bail out on the ride, it would be a pretty short hike to get to the road.

Description

This is the only legal bike trail in the Valley of Fire State Park. It descends west to east and is a great way to see the main valley of the park. Currently (Dec 2022) it's pretty overgrown in places with tough bushes. There isn't much cactus, though.

There are several faint sections where it's a little tough to find your way, but most usually, there'll be a tail sign/post in a short distance.
