Description

Rock Tower Trail (north) is the continuation of Rock Tower Trail (south) on the other side of Jackson Road, and links to both Elderberry Spring Trail and Domino Pond Trail to extend your route options in this part of the park.

The trail is clearly marked with a finger post at the corner junction on Domino Pond Trail, and crosses a small (dry) creek before starting its relentless climb up the valley hillside towards Jackson Road. A portion of this trail is also shared with the Elderberry Spring Trail route, and where that trail starts to level off and head east, Rock Tower Trail turns sharp right continues uphill on a narrow singletrack through the trees.

Eventually this trail does level out in a meadow and ultimately connects with Jackson Road just a short distance from the entrance to Rock Tower Trail (south), which in turn heads downhill to connect with Grizzly Gulch Trail.
