Beck's Tavern is at the trailhead and offers great food and post ride beverages. The Lodge at Gore is also here if you are looking to stay and ride.

This is a new trail built by the Upper Hudson Trails Alliance (UHTA) in 2021 made possible by the town through a recreational easement. This trail is primarily on private property so we ask you to respect the local landowners who made this possible and stay on the trail. Parking is in the back lot at Beck's Tavern. There are some small signs indicating the start.

The trail starts off on a short section of doubletrack and then turns right onto a wide bridge over a brook. Just across this bridge is a second narrow bridge on the left that starts the singletrack climb to the Alternative bike trail.
