Well-maintained trail with plenty of ups and down, recently used for the Dirty Dam Race. It can be ridden as a single loop, or the starting and finishing sections of the bigger 7mi Red Loop and Yellow Loop combination. New bridges and root maintenance make this a fast, enjoyable trail.
Steady climbing in the first section with some decent downhills. Second section works around a fenced park storage area, with a significant downhill and steep climbing turn clay section that presents a good challenge. Finishing section also has some good rollers between trees that will keep you on your toes.
Sandy in spots…5 total trees down that need some tools to clear (1.2, 3.0, 6.5 mi marks). Lots of sticks, pine cones, 1x rat snake and 1x box turt…
