“Bermy climbing connector trail with big rollover rocks and ledgy booters.
”
This is a two-way trail. Always pay attention to downhill travel.
Description
Swallowtail Connector is a two-way trail that connects the Palmer Woods West trails with the future trails to be built in 2023 on the east side of Wheeler Road. This trail continues to climb and descend between Darwin Road and Wheeler Road. We hit the jackpot when we found a huge glacial clay vein while we were into the heavy berms section. We took full advantage of the other glacial erratic we found and hope everyone enjoys the giant boulder pile roll-in.
The trail fits naturally into the glacially carved landscape and the many rock kickers will keep your wheels in the air as much as on the ground.
Moderately steep. Uneven terrain with small rocks or roots.
Sizable rocks & roots. Steep sections.
Steep. Some technical terrain and limited alternate lines.
