Description

High Rider is a tale of two trails. It is the route for adaptive MTB riders to use after riding the main adaptive DH trails, B-Line and Space Jam. High Rider can be ridden by aMTBs in its entirety to Jekyll & Hyde that leads to the shuttle pickup on Waterworks Road. Or aMTBs can skip the jump portion and climb Sunbridge Road back to the top of the hill.

The trail begins where it extends seamlessly from B-Line as it makes its turn to the left continuing downhill. It crosses Coin Slot where riders could be crossing from the right to left. Just beyond is the exit of Jokers Wild to the right where riders may be approaching. This flat traverse portion of High Rider has several roll over features for an aMTB. There is a parallel trail on the right with additional features that were not specifically designed for an aMTB such as a rock garden and a skinnies. Builders did create an aMTB skinny too that has a bypass if riders don't wish to use it.

Just past the features, is an intersection with No Joke and riders should watch for traffic coming downhill on the right. As the trail gently begins to descend ever so slightly, there is an intersection with Ski School where riders could be approaching from the right followed by Ski School and Rubber Duckie, Sunbridge Road crosses at this 7-Point intersection too. High Rider is the ONLY trail at this intersection that doesn't climb or descend the hill.

As one continues to the north, there are several high-speed downhill lines that will cross the trail. Always watch for downhill riders and always yield to them. The trail eventually ties directly into the Sunbridge Hills Conservation Area trails.
