This trail begin off of Flat Bottom along a road bench and climbs steadily at an 8-10% grade for the first quarter mile or so. At the top of this climb is a very steep switchback that will require most riders to get off and push. It then levels out and runs just below the soccer fields at the Trace Fork Shopping Center and then continues behind the Target store before descending to intersect with Crybaby.

Once at the top of the hill, the trail is generally level, but it is tight in spots. Closer to its intersection with Crybaby it crosses the bottom of a fill for the shopping center. This area is very wet and during the summer has high, uncut grass.
