Best time to ride is late March to November. This area can be extremely muddy when it rains/snows. Some parts of the trail become sandy and soft when it dries out. The trail is frequented by motorized recreational vehicles.

Description

This is a doubletrack trail that goes up Cedar Butte. Trail starts flat for a good warm-up then climbs up into the caldera. The trail then turns extremely steep up to the notch.

Enjoy the views then it's a killer ear-drum bursting drop down. The trail is mapped as a loop but there are lots of doubletrack trails going all over to choose from.
