There is no parking allowed on Legend Trail Parkway. If not biking in from the neighborhood, access is from the Pima/Dynamite trailhead or the Brown's Ranch trailhead, or the National Forest land north on the Powerline Road.

This trail connects Legend Trail Parkway to the northwest part of the Stagecoach Trail. It starts on Legend Trail Parkway about 1.5 miles north from where the Malapais Trail comes out. It travels east, mostly flat with slight ups and downs and a fair number of twists.

The terrain is similar to what is found along the Stagecoach Trail. About a third of the way in, the trail enters the Preserve boundary. After 1.4 miles, the trail terminates at the Stagecoach Trail about midway between the Malapais Trail and the Powerline Road.

This trail can be used in conjunction with the Malapais Trail by biking about a mile and a half on Legend Trail Parkway between them.
