Description

This trail clearly used to be a doubletrack Jeep trail, but the trail is now overgrown enough to functionally be singletrack at points. The trail surface mostly consists of dusty soil, and lots of rocks. Horse Lake, near the bottom of the trail, is more of a marsh than a lake. If descending, hang a hard right upon reaching the lake(right before the old cabin) to stay on the trail. Below the lake, the trail becomes steep singletrack for the remainder of the descent to the Lake Fork Creek Trail.

One possible loop would be to ride Lake Fork Creek Trail from the road, and ascend Horse Lake Trail. The intersection is not signed, and would be easy to miss though.
