Need to Know

This is part of the Tioga Recreation Area Mountain Biking Trails. Parking is free. There are pit toilets and changing booths and a large covered picnic shelter at the trailhead. There are 25 miles of singletrack mountain bike trail with a range of skill levels from beginner to expert. There is a small sandy swimming beach near the parking lot on Tioga Mine Pit Lake.

Description

Steady mellow climb through pines and ferns from the parking lot to the top of Minneflowta and Hockey Hair. Nice view from the overlook above the north end of Tioga Mine Pit Lake. Lots of beautiful trilliums blooming in mid-May.
