You'll want to ride this for its proximity to the Green River.

Although the trail starts free and flowing and returns to those conditions in many places throughout, it does get rocky and narrow in just as many places. An experienced rider on a good bike will be able to clear most of the trail, while others will need to get off and walk their bikes over many sections.

You'll also encounter several man-made boardwalks covering sections of the trail next to jutting rock or uneven ground. You can hop on and drop off most of these boardwalks if you have the skill and nerve. We lifted our bikes onto and off most of them.

This is Butch Cassidy country, an area he was well known to hide out in after pulling a heist. You can imagine him or the mountain men before him discovering this country while you're riding along the river.
