Following road work in 2020, a new path was created that connects 8th Street to Country Club Road. The path can be ridden in any direction, but it is frequently used by pedestrians and it is common to run across dogs being walked. Additionally, people will commonly bike this path, so it can become crowded.

The 8th Street to Highway 11 section runs along the northern side of the road but the path will cross over to the southern side of the road along the Highway 11 to Country Club section. There is a busy intersection and traffic light at the Highway 11 intersection. Use caution at this location.
