Description

When leaving the Rio Bravo BLVD parking, turn left and then make an immediate right on to a paved trail. Follow this approximately 1.5 miles south to the Tijeras Arroyo drainage and Albuquerque Bosque Trail.

Turn left and follow the paved trail along the Tijeras drainage (on your right). After passing under 2nd Street, make a right over a small bridge and continue following the drainage (now on your left) which turns into a dirt arroyo.

Continue north/northeast over Murray St. and then Prosperity Ave. Once you reach Rio Bravo BLVD and the cycle rest area, turn left and follow along Rio Bravo BLVD. Follow this all the way back to the Rio Bravo bridge and parking lot.

Note that a small distance just before the Rio Bravo Bridge/parking lot technically uses about approximately 0.25 miles of Dean Dr. SW.
