Dogs Off-leash
Description
This trail can be ridden in either direction but the climbs are more gradual in the counter clockwise direction. The trail will begin past a gravel parking area and a large metal gate. The trail will turn parallel to the road and begin ascending. There will be three fun down-and-up valleys and one downed tree with a log ramp over.
After the last descent, there will be a narrow bridge that leads to the cabin area. Turn left onto the gravel road then follow it around to the right. You'll now be riding parallel to the creek.
Ride to where the road crosses the creek. You can either ride through the creek or go across a metal and wood bridge. Continue on the gravel road for about 200 feet then follow the signs to the left. After a couple hundred feet, the trail will turn to the left then begin ascending. The trail will then turn right and begin paralleling the creek on a narrow bench with a steep slope on your left. There will be a short steep descent followed by another descent in an area that is prone to slipping due to the slope and nature of the soil.
After the trail flattens out, you'll emerge in a grassy area. Look for the trail on your right. The trail will slightly ascend, then continue a parallel track to the creek before turning left and exiting the woods to the right. You'll cross a small creek then turn left on a gravel road, cross a bridge and back to the start.
