Description

The climb starts just up the service road and looker's right from the Westside Lodge at Mt. Abram. As the Skyline ski trail breaks to the right, the uphill trail turns left into the woods.

The trail is hand cut so roots are a regular thing. Regular maintenance has delivered excellent drainage solutions and some fun erosion control. The trail crosses Superchicken in the woods once, and crosses it again when the uphill trail pops out onto the open ski trail.

A short section of service road and a sharp right brings you into the woods for one last moment of shade. The last 60 yards or so are back on the open ski trail and service road, bringing riders to the top of the Westside chairlift.
