Features Drops/Jumps

The trail kiosk has a typo on it, Hemlock Epoch is trail #8 not trail #9 as listed. Management knows of the issue and will be fixing it in the near future. One Way Only: This is designated as a directional trail.

Need to Know

Description

Helmock Epoch can be accessed by climbing either High Rocks Climb or Copperhead Road. The trail starts next to the log bike rack near the gazebo at the top of Wolf Mountain just to the right of the start of Rhodo Ruckus and GNCC. It is the third most difficult downhill option at Ride Kanuga Bike Park and features lots of large, mandatory gap jumps and drops.

This trail requires a ton of speed since most of the features do not have a go around. The trail crosses over Copperhead Road about two-thirds of the way down the mountain near where GNCC crosses Copperhead Road and the start of the beginner and intermediate jump lines, First In Flight and Tortuga.
