Description

This black trail is the first exit off Fork Mountain Ridge Section and runs down a drainage ditch with plenty of techy action. There is a blue variation that bounces from side to side of the drainage known locally as "Pinball Wizard". Enjoy the exciting creek crossing at the bottom, courtesy of Monongahela Outdoor Volunteers and WVU students. Go Mountaineers. Fun stuff!

Start on Fork Mountain Trail at the top of Bear Run Road (go west). At mile six, go right on Big Run for downhill excitement. The creek crossing rides well after all the work it has had. If you don't have fun on this trail, better check your pulse to make sure you're still alive.
