Need to Know

Access is via doubletrack from the upper Q'emiln lot. At the "Y" at the bottom of the hill, take the left fork, the trailhead is about 80 feet down on your right.

Description

Whether riding clockwise or counterclockwise, both directions will start with a slight incline and end with a nice downhill straight, with speeds approaching 20 mph. A great beginner course for both mountain bikers and cross-country and cyclocross riders.

The forest section on the south end is twisty, while the north-end forest has nice, fast sidehill turns and quick, punchy climbs. There are spur trails on the inside of the loop (Lower Inner Loop, Get Back Honky Cat) and outside (40-Hump Camel), which stretch the distance of the full loop (Hole Encheelaadaa) to roughly 2.3 miles.
