Overview

A little pavement, a lot of climbing and a nice roll down the lombard trail and out the backyard trails

Description

Head up Garden creek about seven miles to the keystone gulch road. Stay left and get the granny gear ready for a short grind up keystone gulch. Once the grade relaxes stay straight onto USFS trail 4369 (lombard trail). A little more climbing and of short couple hike-a-bike sections later you'll top out on an unnamed saddle and the (mostly) descent begins as you wind your way along the lombard trail to the non-motorized backyard trail system in the west Challis foothills.
