Need to Know

There is a small store in Zuar Village and a couple of homestays one with camping. See janapartrail.org for a homestay directory and more information on the Janapar Trail.

Description

This loop can be started in Zuar Village or at the hot springs. As an alternative to going down the Janapar Trail when coming from Karvachar you can continue down the Zuar Loop Trail to the Hot Springs.

The trail is mostly on old jeep tracks. Some are grown over into single tracks. There are a few rocky segments that can make it challenging. If climbing from Zuar Village it is recommended you ride the loop in a clockwise direction passing the hot spring and climbing from there. This is a gentler and less technical climb in this direction.

The Janapar Trail portion of the loop is marked in blue and white painted blazes and the Zuar Loop portion is marked in Red and White painted blazes.
