You'll pass a country store on the way to fuel up if needed. There is no parking at the fire road entrance and the gate is closed seasonally.

Description

This is a good option for campers at Stokesville or North River campgrounds to get to Narrowback Ridge singletrack trails while the construction has Tillman Road closed. It's a short 3 mile pavement ride to the fireroad from the campgrounds by taking the left on North River Road to a left on Bear Trap Road followed by the left to FR #536.
