The loop starts underneath the overpass of Highway 43. The trails start out in s small grass field and work its way into the forest with a small ladder bridge. The trail will come to an intersection where you can turn left or right, turn right at this intersection. The trail rolls up and down and eventually gets to a large climb. The climb will have another intersection where you'll turn right and continue uphill.

At the top of the climb, keep left to get to the descent. The descent will bring you back to the intersection from the climb turn left at this intersection. The trail continues and crosses another small ladder bridge. The loop end as you cross Baird Creek Road—watch for cars!
