Description

Technically Lower and Upper Primer make up the first loop built in the Barnes Canyon network, and they are the first mountain bike specific singletrack built in Caliente. Lower Primer is sandy in many places and grinds through some great scenery on its way to the teepee rocks. The Primer Loop is best ridden counter clockwise from the trailhead, but Lower Primer is a great beginner route back to the trailhead if returning from a bigger ride.
