2019's Power of Four Mountain Bike race course introduces a major evolution from the classic course of prior years. The new course is bound to attract both veterans and newcomers with plenty of the vertical gain from the past course, but now with mile after mile of high-quality singletrack trails along the way.
Advance registration is required. There will be no race day registration. This year will debut a new race course with 3 divisions:
1. 50 Mile Solo Racer
2. 50 Mile Team of 2
3. 25 Mile Solo Racer
Trails are generally open to the public during this race. While most of us will race fast up the climbs, and even faster on the descents, please be polite and yield when appropriate.
Aid station locations on course to be determined.

This year the Power of Four Mountain Bike course is going to utilize some of the best singletrack in the Roaring Fork Valley over a 25-mile loop that will start and finish in Snowmass.
Please study the course map. The event starts and finishes at the bottom of Fanny Hill at Snowmass Base Village. The race starts up the ski area work road, jumps onto Discovery Trail
up to the TeePee, briefly traverses the Dawdler work road to a descent on Connector Trail
, then travels east on Ditch Trail
to a fast descent down the paved Divide Road.
From here, the course loop is almost entirely singletrack including Rim Trail
, Seven Star Trail
, Ditchline Trail
, Viewline Trail
, Deadline Trail
, Highline trail
, Tom Blake
, Cross Mountain Trail
, Village Bound
, and finally finishing up back where you started, on Fanny Hill at the free concert venue.
Registered for the 50-mile solo? Go enjoy that 2nd big lap!
