The start of this trail has been wiped out by a fire-break project along the GR6. If you watch, you can see a short singletrack section on the other side of the plowed area where the GR6 steps up abruptly. Make your way there and follow the trail to an obscure opening in the scrub, which is the start of the route. It opens up shortly and climbs onto the ridgetop where it stays for a good while, climbing up and dropping down steeply with the landform, and offering great views.

Eventually, you go left to drop way down steeply into a ravine where you then have to go up the trail you can see from the turn. Unless you are some kind of a monster, it's basically push your bike the whole way up.

The final section is narrow, broken and brushy in the dry streambed. It's a scratchy thrash to get out to an olive grove and dirt track that leads back to Aureilles.

The trail is pretty challenging the whole way. You may want to ride it out and back for the views, rather than paying the piper all the way back to town.
