Fire danger closures in summer.

Need to Know

The trail is narrowed by vegetation, which can be scratchy and grabby. This isn't a high-speed downhill run.

Description

When the terrain is about to steepen, take the trail on the right to avoid going up a gnarly downhill trail (Les Opies East Descent). Follow this narrow trail west, then north to reach a fire road. Turn left and take the fire road to a pass.

From the pass, you can drop down Le Vallon des Opies to reach the village of Aureille.

Start riding up singletrack at Latitude/Longitude: 43.7146 N / 4.98278 E.
