Free parking can be found at the Ome river side park adjacent to the Tama River. The trail starts left after riding up approximately three quarters of a mile away on the small Onita River Valley Road.

Always be sure to show respect to local hikers sharing the trails as mountain biking in Japan still has a bad reputation for rude riders tearing up land. Stay on designated trails to avoid future conflicts with land owners.

The trailhead can be found off narrow paved road starting at the bottom of the small valley. An immediate steep climb on singletrack goes up to the ridge where the trail will continue west. While riding west, the trail rolls up and down as it follows the crest of the hill, gaining elevation. Multiple root systems add to the technicality of this trail. Eventually, the singletrack dumps out on a paved road and can be picked up immediately on the other side.

Continue to follow the trail down the fence line to an intersection and take a right. A long flowy downhill will dump you out in the City of Ome where you'll have to take residential streets to pick up the trail about three quarters of a mile away. Climb the steep unused road back up in elevation until the singletrack starts up again. Take a left to follow the same fence line to complete a circle heading back to the starting point. Continue past the ridge entrance trail and hang a left at the fence line to make your way back down to the free parking area.
