Both directions can be ridden on this trail, but for a better explanation following the letter order, trail heads eastward. The trail starts off in between the Allegan State Game Headquarters and Swan Creek South on 118th Avenue. There is no parking lot at this trailhead, but it can easily be reached by parking in the Headquarters parking lot.

This trail starts at an elevation of about 225 meters. It continues east on 118th Avenue until reaching a two-track on the north side of 118th Avenue. This trail then heads north on the two-track near the west side of North Swan Creek with very slight ascents and descents until ending at 218 meters
