Description

The upper trail splits off the Cub Creek Trail at just over 10,000' and descends through some rock gardens and forest. There are a few rock features that can be tricky when climbing this trail, and fun when coming down! Also, lots of rocks and roots to put a little air under your tires if you want! Keep an eye out when climbing, and make note for the descent. Everything within reason can be rolled over.

The trail continues south towards a lower junction with Bugling Elk Trail, or drops you off on doubletrack (Shadow Mountain Rd #103) that also returns to Bugling Elk.
