This former logging gravel road is slowly becoming a doubletrack.
Accessed from the Katahdin Loop Road, you'll cross a bridge over the Katahdin Brook before climbing towards the intersection with Barnard Mountain Road. There is lean-to just after the brook as this forms a portion of the International Appalachian Trail. After the intersection, the road continues downhill until its abrupt terminus.
