A nice mix of double/singletrack that takes you around the lake, up along the ridge, and ends in a fast-paced descent.

Description

The Mary Davis Trail forks off to the right from the Lost Trail at the point along the lake where the Lost Trail goes uphill. Mary Davis starts out as singletrack that follows the lakeshore for a while, then turns to doubletrack and veers away from the lake to follow a creek through the forest.

The creek crossings on the doubletrack section can be overgrown during the summer. After a few creek crossings and a lot of overgrowth, the trail ascends to the top of the ridge on an old fire road. At the top of the ridge, make an almost 180-degree turn to the left to stay on Mary Davis. There are other trails that fork off at this section, so be aware.

After following the ridge for a while, the trail starts a fast, rolling descent back down to intersect the Lost Trail near the trailhead.
