“Known as the no recovery race, there are few flowy sections and many punchy climbs.”
— Todd Sheehan
Race - Sep 29, 2018
Private property. Only open for riding during race times.
One Way Only:
This is designated as a directional trail.
Fairly smooth singletrack with some moderately challenging climbs will stretch out your legs and your lungs. Very few technical features of mild roots, log overs, and switchbacks allow you to focus on your physical strength and conditioning. There is 2.5 miles of new singletrack created just for this event.
Need to Know
Signing the waiver and registration is a must before riding.
There are many features on the course, but a few stand out:
Mile 2: A long(ish) hill that you can make as hard as you want by adjusting your speed.
Mile 2.5: A mild switchy climb to Sasquatch (you'll have to ride it to see what we mean).
Mile 2.75: A fast descent followed by a steep doubletrack climb (room for passing).
Mile 3: A hard singletrack climb (with short B-line option for passing) through pine forest.
Mile 3.5: Our famous three-tier hill has most looking for gears they don't have.
Mile 5: After going through the grass field, there is a fun descent (with a jump if you choose) followed by a shock-compressing transition up a sandy hill with lots of room for passing.
